Recurring support, even without rental

Property care in Casablanca while you are away

Your second home, apartment or place for occasional stays may be empty for part of the year. Property care provides visual check visits and updates based on the points agreed for your home.

The subscription model includes three visits per month. Visible issues are documented and next steps follow your instructions and agreed authority. Acceptance and the applicable terms must be confirmed for the property.

When you are away

An empty home: which points should be checked?

During your absence, you can request observations of doors, windows, visible conditions and equipment expressly included in the assignment.

Checks reflect how you use the home and the points agreed. A visit does not replace continuous presence or a specialist diagnosis.

What recurring property care can include

The service is defined around your home, absence and useful tasks. The aim is to arrange the presence you need within an agreed scope.

Visual check visits

Observe the agreed points on site and report visible issues.

An unoccupied home

Agree appropriate observations for an apartment or residence left empty for an extended period.

Access and keys

Arrange access and, where included, hold a set of keys under the terms agreed with you.

Access for a contractor

Admit an authorised tradesperson or provider and remain for the agreed period. The professional remains responsible for their work.

Preparation before your return

Coordinate agreed tasks before arrival: a visual check, contractor access or cleaning coordination.

Observations and photographs

Document relevant visible conditions and share useful photographs.

Care defined with you

How can your home be looked after during your absence?

Property care is for owners who want recurring checks on an apartment, house or second home in Casablanca, including homes that are never rented out.

An initial visit to define the scope

Before service begins, an initial visit documents the home's visible condition, checks access and defines the observation points. Instructions, equipment and authorised people are agreed with you.

Three visual check visits per month

The subscription model includes three visits per month. Additional visits can be requested when needed; their scope and conditions are agreed separately.

Only need one visit? A one-off visual check is covered by one-off services, subject to acceptance.

The agreed checklist

What is observed during a visit?

Visits follow the points agreed for your property. They cover visible observations and simple checks within scope, rather than technical diagnosis or structural inspection.

Access, doors and windows

Accessible doors, locks, windows, glazed openings and apparent signs of forced entry can be observed where included in the checklist.

Water and visible damp

Apparent leaks, visible bathroom conditions or damp marks are recorded without destructive investigation.

Equipment and general condition

Agreed rooms, main lighting, furniture and kitchen areas. A simple equipment check can be included when expressly requested and appropriate to the assignment.

What can a visual check establish?

Visits are scheduled, limited visits. They are not permanent surveillance or a guarantee that hidden defects are absent.

An update from the property

What do you receive after a check visit?

The report explains what was checked and what needs attention, helping you obtain an initial observation without travelling yourself.

Useful observations and photographs

Agreed observations and completed tasks are reported through the chosen channel. A context photograph and close-up may help explain a visible issue.

Points requiring your decision

A proposed action, extra access or specialist visit is distinguished from the initial observation. You decide the next step within the authority agreed with Darikey.

Specify your absence periods, expected return date where known and available access. The request may concern a Moroccan living abroad, expatriate, investor or another owner staying elsewhere.

The initial visit documents the home and defines the observation points, priority contact and decisions requiring your approval.

Casablanca in practice

The property type also affects the scope

A home in Maârif, Gauthier, Racine, Anfa, Bourgogne or Aïn Diab? Its exact location and access are assessed before the care arrangements are agreed.

From an urban apartment to a second home

In CFC/Casa Anfa, Oasis, Palmier, Les Princesses or Californie, specify rooms, residence access and absence periods. As in Maârif, Gauthier, Racine, Anfa, Bourgogne or Aïn Diab, the home need not be rented out.

For Dar Bouazza, Tamaris or Bouskoura, including Casa Green Town, specify the surrounding location, outbuildings and outside spaces concerned. Feasibility, travel and service conditions must be assessed separately; naming an area does not confirm coverage.

An apartment in a shared building, occasional residence, second home and house have different access requirements and observation points.

Apartment in a shared building

Shared-area access, any caretaker, lift, building management and contractor access can affect the arrangements.

Second home

Absence periods and preparation before your return may call for different support from a home occupied every day.

House or villa

Entrances, outside spaces and equipment may need a different agreed checklist.

The building, access and area matter alongside the home's actual characteristics. Maârif, Gauthier, Racine, Anfa, Bourgogne and Aïn Diab can present different practical settings.

Before you arrive

How can your home be prepared before your return?

A second home or occasional residence may need agreed tasks before occupation. Give your return date and requested preparations so the scope can be defined.

Check and arrange access

An agreed check, access for an authorised contractor or key handover can be arranged under your instructions.

Coordinate the requested preparation

Cleaning or other preparation can be coordinated where included. Outside services and property expenses remain separate from Darikey's care service.

Your control

Define what Darikey may handle

Clear instructions should be agreed before a problem occurs.

Specify authorised people, particular instructions, priority contact and the spending level that requires your approval.

The aim is to make your decisions practical despite the distance, within the authority you have given.

How will you know what was observed?

Traceable keys and access

Where keys are entrusted, receipt, identification, use for an assignment and return are governed by the agreed arrangements. Third-party access must follow the owner's authorised people and instructions.

Observations and coordination

An observation is not a diagnosis

Damp, an apparent leak or equipment that does not work may be reported during a visit. Identifying the cause and carrying out repairs require the appropriate professional.

Darikey can record visible conditions, document them, inform you and coordinate an appropriate professional under your instructions.

What happens when a visible issue is found?

  1. Observe and document. Record relevant visible conditions, with photographs where useful.
  2. Inform you. Share the observation and information needed to understand the situation.
  3. Decide within the agreed authority. Actions and expenses follow your instructions and permissions.
  4. Coordinate where needed. The specialist carries out their own work; Darikey can arrange access and any agreed visual check afterwards.

In a potentially dangerous situation, the person attending does not improvise repairs. Procedures for urgent situations must be defined as part of the service agreement.

A second home in Casablanca: three monthly visits within an agreed scope

The subscription includes three visual check visits per month. Additional visits or preparation before return can be requested under the agreed conditions.

Define the points to observe

Before your absence, specify accessible rooms, equipment, authorised people, instructions and decisions needing your approval. Secure key custody is included where expressly part of the service.

Frequently asked questions

Looking after a Casablanca home from abroad

Must my apartment be rented out to request property care?

No. This service also concerns second homes, occasional residences and properties left empty for part of the year.

What happens if Darikey observes a problem?

Useful visible conditions can be documented and reported. Any specialist visit can then be coordinated under the agreed instructions and authority.

Can Darikey hold keys to my home?

Yes, where included. Key handling must remain organised and traceable under the arrangements agreed with the owner.

Does Darikey carry out repairs itself?

Specialist plumbing, electrical, air-conditioning or other repairs must be handled by an appropriate professional. Darikey may coordinate the visit when that is part of the assignment.

Can I retain control of spending?

Yes. Define delegated authority and any limit separating authorised routine spending from expenses requiring your approval.

How does property care differ from rental management?

Rental management concerns a rented home and its booking and stay operations. Property care addresses the absent owner's need for agreed checks and support, even without rental.

How many visits does the subscription include?

Three visual check visits per month. The points and arrangements are defined for your home. An additional visit can be requested separately.

Can I request only one visit during my absence?

Yes. A single visit can be assessed as a one-off service, subject to acceptance. Property care is the recurring arrangement.

Does a visual check replace security guarding or a technical inspection?

No. It is a defined visit with agreed visual observations and simple checks, not continuous presence, security guarding or specialist diagnosis.
